Greening Our Economy

In recent years our global economy has taken a beating without question. Regardless of the reasons it is in all of our best interests to get back on track and make the correct decisions to work toward that collective goal. It will take leaders, individuals and the teaching for our children to help create a sustainable economy for years to come.

In our industry space of off-road EUV’s, we know our position and what we can do to achieve economic growth. In our industry we cannot rely on the revenue of replacement parts where many gasoline and diesel vehicle manufactures can simply because there are less moving parts to replace in electric vehicles. As the off-road EUV market matures it is realized that the will to further improve electric drive trains grows and multiplies. It is in these multiple lots of growth in technology that our economy grows in our industry. The results of this economic growth offers the consumer better choices, higher efficiency vehicles, all while making the cost of ownership to the consumer less than when compared to gas or diesel products. Our economy also becomes more diverse making it less vulnerable to the effects of decisions made by only a few stake holders that can devastate our lives.

As we continue to embrace greener products we also learn of some pretty significant benefits of green products that were not so obvious in the past. For example, when an employee is given the choice of listening to a loud smelly engine during the course of his or her work day vs. a quiet electric vehicle it would be safe to assume that the quiet electric choice is the better one, (assuming in both cases the vehicle can handle the duty cycle). But what is realized over time is that the absence of the constant noise and harsh smell of gas or diesel emissions eliminates a hidden irritation that can effect the work ethic of an employee. In some cases the use of electric vehicles in commercial environments can boost a positive outlook and result in better productivity.
